The adventures continue throughout the day!
Here you get to see what goes in to one of our daily green drink/smoothy/soup.
We’ve had lots of questions lately about the difference between a juice and a smoothy.
So, a smoothy is all the parts blended up, nothing taken away.
For a juice, (and we will show you this soon too) you are given the JUICE and not the masses of pulp/fiber.
Our green drinks REALLY fill us up and taste AMAZING.
We are totally addicted to these soups and love it with some raw nori sheets torn up into little bits.
We’ll get on to showing you how to make that basil-hempini too… mmm mmm!
Check it out!
As always, we can’t wait to share more and more with you!
Keep in touch on our YouTube channel and by subscribing to the blog too!
In the meantime, we have SO much organizing to do it is unbelievable!
Updates on our Costa Rican adventure and more news on our Vibrant Health Retreat coming soon!
Have a greeeeeeeeeeeeen fueled day!
We know you’ll feel good
Big Peace

I have been in a whirlwind of events over the past couple of weeks, and each time I came to sit down to write a blog a fog came over me… How can I explain these feelings?! What can say that is of use to anyone? I am a teacher and I want to pass this on but somedays I just thought… I just don’t have the time to do this!
There was too much going on for me to try and write a blog to make sense of it all and keep in touch with the technological highway….
I have a feeling this is where ‘Twitter’ and ‘Facebook’ come in for most people… It is something that I myself don’t do but I can see why some people do use it to communicate. It is fast, easy and ticks the ‘keep in touch’ box well enough to make us feel satisfied or releived for a day or so.
But I had this worry that I HAD to write a blog or I wasn’t doing my job!!!
And what would the point have been in that?
Trying to verbalise times that just don’t have words is no use to anyone.
Today, I sat back and realised I had learned so much in these weeks.
A fast paced life has just kept delivering exactly what I have been asking for, for a long time.
Yes, I have been ultra ‘busy’ with life but it has been the most amazing time… and all is coming!
Big changes are on the horizon for me and Steve.
Insted of trying to do everything and keep my ‘inbox’ under control, there were times where I had to just hold up my hands and say no, I can’t do any more, I just have to stop for a second…
Thank goodness that both Steve and I have been blessed with the knowledge of how to keep ourselves well in a life that sometimes makes it very difficult to keep up with.
In the meantime, with this knowledge in us, finding the ‘things’ we need to keep us well while living in a city based life, has become increasingly harder to do.
This includes finding sun light, fresh, organic fruits and veg, moving more and having the time to do those simple fun things.
It is at times like these I see many folks reaching for a bottle of wine, a cigarette or some other kind of mental blocker to make it all go away for an evening!
However, This certainly is not going to set us in good stead for what is around the corner. In fact it will just make tomorrow even harder than today.
As we have both been so strongly asking for this big change, a huge opportunity has landed on our doorstep.
We will be much better off if we feel amazing on the way!
Some of you already know we are planning to host the most amazing retreat in Costa Rica in March!
Not only has this brought huge changes to our immediate life plans but also to what lies a little further on the horizon.
More to come on this in the coming weeks!
In the meantime, like I said, we focus on keeping ourselves well wherever possible.
Sprouting
Singing
Smiling
Breathing
…and sun-gazing if we are so deeply blessed with a cloudless sky here and there.
Look after yourself and the rest will look after itself.
The really important stuff will happen on it’s own.
Like LOVE!
Because when all else fails… The truth is LOVE is all you need…
I am so grateful
I am loved
And you know what
You are loved too
Now do some sun salutations, we need that sun out!
Big Love to you

Another well over due post today!
Steve and I have been munching our way through pounds of sprouts lately and it simply doesn’t seem right not to share this in more detail!
In my opinion we should all be taught this from day one.
Knowing how to grow your own food from seed is something so valuable, it seems strange to me that most of us don’t know where to even begin.
It is a real shame that, instead of being taught how to harvest seeds, plant and grow, we are instead educated to make money and leaving us little or no time to feed our selves.
Our dependancy on money for survival has taught us nothing except for how to consume ‘things’… not food, not life force.
And so, we teach ourselves in a matter of seconds how to operate a microwave and depend on the powers that be to ensure that whatever went into that plastic container will at least ‘fill a hole’ in the depths of a nutrient desperate body.
I wonder sometimes how we are still managing to get out of bed in the morning!?!
But my dears, do not fear! Sprouts are here! And MICRO GREENS TOO!!!
You would not believe how easy, cheap and massively nutrient dense these tiny little gifts from the earth are!
Even while living in our tiny little bedsit with only 1 room, we manage to grow enough food to feed us both for a week.
(Just imagine what we’ll be getting up to when we do get just an inch of soil to grow in!!!)
Every time we set off another batch of sometimes only 1.5 dessert spoons of teeny tiny little seeds in 1 small jar, I am truly amazed by the massive handfuls of fresh green vibrant food that comes only a few days later.
We’ve been sprouting brocoli, fenugreek, clover and sango radish in jars…
These follow a similar routine (although you can use this as a rough guideline as there will be variations depending on the seeds you use and the environment you are in)

What I have found so exciting too, is our recent discovery of micro greens….
Microgreens are similar to sprouts except they are grown in soil to the point whereby they may look like a small version of the full plant. Imagine all the nutrition you would get from eating handfuls of these!
We’ve been cultivating Snow Pea Greens which are beautiful to watch grow and so delicious.

We enjoy a wee handful of snow pea greens and sango radish sprouts after a delicious mini watermelon. Simple things
The sun’s out and it’s time to sprout your way to a vibrant summer!
Happy sprouting folks ![]()
